Maratón Medellín 2026

Parque de los Pies Descalzos (finish line)

Four distances across two days: the 5K on Saturday, then 10K, 21K and 42K on Sunday. The 42K starts at Parque de las Luces on Avenida San Juan, the 21K at Avenida Carabobo and the 10K at Parques del Río, with every distance finishing at the EPM building in Parque de los Pies Descalzos. Expect road closures across the centre and the river corridor on Sunday morning — if you are driving out of Laureles that day, leave early or wait until the afternoon.

Jardín Botánico Joaquín Antonio Uribe Free entry

The city's book festival turns twenty, running ten days at the Botanical Garden and across the northern zone.
